My study experience...
Last year, I was so shocked wnen I got an offers letter from Johor Matriculation College to continued my study in there. At that time, I was working as a part time job in a shooping complex. At the same time, I also got an offers to go to PLKN. Unfortunately, after I had made a discussion with my family and friends, I decided to accept an offers from JMC to furthers my study. I was really scared to enter my study in the matriculation because so many people said that it was hard to survive in there. But, I had made a decisions to take that challenged. At first,It was hard for me to live in there as I need to be far from my family because before this I had never been apart from them for a long time. But after a long time, I can survived as I had got a lot of friends and that make me feels happy to stay in there. After a year, I had finish my study in JMC this year. It was a very memorible moments for me and I will never forgot my experienced that I got in JMC. After two months, I got a letter from UITM to continued my study in here. I really enjoys study in here because I had got so many friends and have a great classmates. Now, I almost finish my first semester in here and I hope that I could do my best in my final examinations this year. I feels that my study experienced was happened so fast and I hope that I can finish my study with flying colours, I also hope that I can further my study in masters after this.
Information and communications technology
Information and communications technology or information and communication technology,[1] usually called ICT, is often used as a synonym for information technology (IT) but is usually a more general term that stresses the role of communications (telephone lines and wireless signals) in modern information technology. ICT consists of all technical means used to handle information and aid communication, including both computer and network hardware as well as necessary software. In other words, ICT consists of IT as well as telephony, broadcast media, and all types of audio and video processing and transmission.[2] The expression was first used in 1997[3] in a report by Dennis Stevenson to the UK government[4] and promoted by the new National Curriculum documents for the UK in 2000.
The term ICT is now also used to refer to the merging (convergence) of telephone networks with computer networks through a single cabling or link system. There are large economic incentives (huge cost savings due to elimination of the telephone network) to merge the telephone network with the computer network system. See VOIP. This in turn has spurred the growth of organizations with the term ICT in their names to indicate their specialization in the process of merging the two network systems.

Information system
An information system (IS) is any combination of information technology and people's activities using that technology to support operations, management, and decision-making.[1] In a very broad sense, the term information system is frequently used to refer to the interaction between people, algorithmic processes, data and technology. In this sense, the term is used to refer not only to the information and communication technology (ICT) an organization uses, but also to the way in which people interact with this technology in support of business processes[2].
Some make a clear distinction between information systems,and computer systems ICT, and business processes. Information systems are distinct from information technology in that an information system is typically seen as having an ICT component. Information systems are also different from business processes. Information systems help to control the performance of business processes [3].
Alter argues for an information system as a special type of work system. A work system is a system in which humans and/or machines perform work using resources (including ICT) to produce specific products and/or services for customers. An information system is a work system whose activities are devoted to processing (capturing, transmitting, storing, retrieving, manipulating and displaying) information [4].
Part of the difficulty in defining the term information system is due to vagueness in the definition of related terms such as system and information. Beynon-Davies argues for a clearer terminology based in systemics and semiotics. He defines an information system as an example of a system concerned with the manipulation of signs. About me...
My name is Ainin Sofia binti Abdullah. You guys can call me Ainin. I am 19 years old. I was been born at Kelantan. But, I was currently stay at Johor Bahru. My hobby is shopping, eating, watching movies and others. My favourite foods are nasi lemak, chicken rice, spaghetti, burger and many more. I also like to spent my time by hang out with my friends. I like to walk around the city to release my tension. Before this I was studied at Sek. Keb. Mohd Khir Johari for my primary school. Later, I continued my studied at Sek. Men. Keb. Majidi Baru from 2004 but the school's name was changed to Sek. Men. Keb. Tun Syed Nasir Ismail at 2006 for my secondary school. After finish my secondary school in 2008 while waiting for my SPM result, I had taking a job as a part time promoter at Metrojaya. In 2009, I was studied at Johor Matriculation College. Now, I was study at UITM Malacca City Campus in my degree. In here, I was taking a Business course. I am going to study hard, so that I will be success in my life. I hope that I will get a flying colours in my examinations.
The History
The history of education according to Dieter Lenzen, president of the Freie Universität Berlin 1994, "began either millions of years ago or at the end of 1770". Education as a science cannot be separated from the educational traditions that existed before. Adults trained the young of their society in the knowledge and skills they would need to master and eventually pass on. The evolution of culture, and human beings as a species depended on this practice of transmitting knowledge. In pre-literate societies this was achieved orally and through imitation. Story-telling continued from one generation to the next. Oral language developed into written symbols and letters. The depth and breadth of knowledge that could be preserved and passed soon increased exponentially. When cultures began to extend their knowledge beyond the basic skills of communicating, trading, gathering food, religious practices, etc., formal education, and schooling, eventually followed. Schooling in this sense was already in place in Egypt between 3000 and 500BC.
Nowadays some kind of education is compulsory to all people in most countries. Due to population growth and the proliferation of compulsory education, UNESCO has calculated that in the next 30 years more people will receive formal education than in all of human history thus far.

Technology
Technology is an increasingly influential factor in education. Computers and mobile phones are used in developed countries both to complement established education practices and develop new ways of learning such as online education (a type of distance education). This gives students the opportunity to choose what they are interested in learning. The proliferation of computers also means the increase of programming and blogging. Technology offers powerful learning tools that demand new skills and understandings of students, including Multimedia, and provides new ways to engage students, such as Virtual learning environments. One such tool are virtual manipulatives, which are an "interactive, Web-based visual representation of a dynamic object that presents opportunities for constructing mathematical knowledge" (Moyer, Bolyard, & Spikell, 2002). In short, virtual manipulatives are dynamic visual/pictorial replicas of physical mathematical manipulatives, which have long been used to demonstrate and teach various mathematical concepts. Virtual manipulatives can be easily accessed on the Internet as stand-alone applets, allowing for easy access and use in a variety of educational settings. Emerging research into the effectiveness of virtual manipulatives as a teaching tool have yielded promising results, suggesting comparable, and in many cases superior overall concept-teaching effectiveness compared to standard teaching methods.[citation needed] Technology is being used more not only in administrative duties in education but also in the instruction of students. The use of technologies such as PowerPoint and interactive whiteboard is capturing the attention of students in the classroom. Technology is also being used in the assessment of students. One example is the Audience Response System (ARS), which allows immediate feedback tests and classroom discussions.

Motivation and retention counselors, along with faculty and administrators, can impact the potential academic success of students by provision of technology based experiences in the University setting.[22]
The use of computers and the Internet is in its infancy in developing countries, if these are used at all, due to limited infrastructure and the attendant high costs of access. Usually, various technologies are used in combination rather than as the sole delivery mechanism. For example, the Kothmale Community Radio Internet uses both radio broadcasts and computer and Internet technologies to facilitate the sharing of information and provide educational opportunities in a rural community in Sri Lanka.[23] The Open University of the United Kingdom (UKOU), established in 1969 as the first educational institution in the world wholly dedicated to open and distance learning, still relies heavily on print-based materials supplemented by radio, television and, in recent years, online programming.[24] Similarly, the Indira Gandhi National Open University in India combines the use of print, recorded audio and video, broadcast radio and television, and audio conferencing technologies.[25]

My Family...
My father name is Abdullah bin Mohd Salleh. He was 49 years old. While, my mother name is Maisarah binti Abdullah and she was 41 years old. I have 5 siblings in my family and I was the first one. It was two boys and three girls. My second sister name is Aida Syazana and she was 17 years old. She was study at MRSM Pahang and is going to take SPM this year. The third one is Aiman Syafiq, he was 16 years old and now study at MRSM Kelantan. The fourth one is Afnan Syahrin, he was 13 years old and now study at SMK Tun Syed Nasir Ismail. The last one is Anis Suraya, she was 11 years old and now was study at SK Mohd Khir Johari. Since that I was a old sister in my family, it is my responsibility to be a good role model to all my siblings. When I was free, I will hang out with my family. The activity that I like to do with my family was picnic, shopping, watching movie together, cooking, clean up the house and many more. I really love my family so much. I hope that my family will be happy ever after.
